What's Trending: Reality Exits, Music Rights Disputes, and Afrobeats Clashes

Neche exits BBNaija, Dapper Music defends master rights against former signees, Blaqbonez hits Odumodublvck with a 2.55 billion Naira lawsuit, and Davido clashes online with Wande Coal over an unreleased feature verse.
1) BBNaija Organizers Confirm Neche Opted Out Over Personal Matters

MultiChoice Nigeria and the Big Brother Naija Season 11 production team officially confirmed that housemate Neche voluntarily exited the reality show following a Sunday live eviction.

The 25 year old lawyer and entrepreneur, who had just served as Head of House during the week, decided to leave the show to attend to urgent personal matters that required her immediate attention.

The organizers released an official statement commending her dedication and notable achievements throughout her stay while expressing full respect for her decision to step away.

2) Dapper Music Founder Defends Master Rights Against Ex-Signees

Damilola Dapper Akinwunmi, founder of Dapper Group, broke his silence following public accusations from former label signees Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and T.I Blaze regarding financial mismanagement and alleged contract manipulation.

Dapper clarified that when a record label funds the recording, video production, and promotion of a project, the label legally holds ownership of the master recordings it paid for. Denying claims of selling catalogues or forging signatures, he challenged his former artistes to submit to an independent forensic audit to let verified financial records speak rather than social media posts.

 3) Blaqbonez Traces Odumodublvck Rift to Love Triangle and N2.55B Lawsuit

Rapper Blaqbonez opened up during a podcast appearance about his escalating feud with fellow hip hop artiste Odumodublvck, revealing that the fallout began when both musicians inadvertently dated the same woman in a non exclusive arrangement.

Blaqbonez explained that after trying to resolve the issue over a phone conversation, the situation degraded into online harassment and physical encounters where Odumodublvck allegedly snatched his designer sunglasses and rosary.

The conflict has now moved to court, with Blaqbonez filing a 2.55 billion Naira lawsuit citing criminal defamation, harassment, and assault.

4) Davido and Wande Coal Trade Jabs Over Unreleased Feature Verse

Afrobeats stars Davido and Wande Coal traded words online after a disagreement over an unreleased feature on Wande Coal's hit track Come My Way turned personal.

Speaking on a podcast, Davido claimed he recorded a verse for the song but refused to participate after Wande Coal decided to drop the original track first and save Davido's feature for a remix.

Wande Coal fired back on social media, questioning why an invited guest expected to alter the release timeline of a song that already had an established plan and went on to succeed on its own.
