BBNaija Season 11: Meet the Early Fan Favourites and The Biggest Moments

Big Brother Naija is back, and Season 11 is already giving fans plenty to talk about.

The new season officially premiered on Sunday, July 26, 2026, under the theme "Show Ya Sef." Returning host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu welcomed 24 new housemates from different backgrounds, all competing for the biggest prize in the show's history, ₦160 million, which includes ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new SUV.

It's only been a few days, but alliances are beginning to form, and housemates are starting to shine, If you've missed the opening week, Let's catch-up.
Meet the 24 Housemates

This season's cast is made up of entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, and entertainers, each bringing a different personality into the house.

Male Housemates: Chimsom Chuka, Tram, Martins, Keivo, Sultex, Aikou, Gerard, Barry, Yusuf, Ricky, Araga, and Cassi.

Female Housemates: Temi Nkem, Abi, Mercedes, Kamsy, Flora, Bells, Oyin, Sheba, Nomy, Neche, Goddessa, and Bluethophia

Chimsom Chuka has quickly emerged as one of the strongest competitors after becoming the season's first Head of House. His calm approach and competitive edge have already made him one of the early favourites.

Tram also found himself in the spotlight after winning access to the Luxury Lounge through a lucky draw and choosing Sheba to share the experience. The decision immediately sparked conversations among fans and hinted at relationships that could shape the weeks ahead.

The Biggest Twists So Far

BBNaija Season 11 has wasted no time changing the rules.

Head of House Doesn't Guarantee Luxury

For the first time, winning the Head of House challenge no longer automatically comes with access to the exclusive Luxury Lounge.

Although Chimsom Chuka won the first HoH games, entry into the lounge was decided through a lucky dip. Tram won the draw and selected Sheba to join him, proving that luck can now be just as important as strategy.

"The Gambit" Changes Everything

Perhaps the biggest surprise so far is The Gambit.

The new twist gives two housemates an opportunity to secure their place in the house for an extended period, protecting them from early eviction. The catch? Anyone who accepts the offer automatically loses the chance to win the ₦160 million grand prize.

It's a decision that forces contestants to choose between guaranteed survival and the possibility of becoming the ultimate winner, adding a completely new layer of strategy to the game.

One week in, BBNaija Season 11 has already shown that this year's competition won't follow the usual script.

The introduction of unpredictable twists, the removal of some familiar advantages, and a cast that's already creating memorable moments suggest viewers are in for another entertaining season. With new alliances forming and Biggie expected to introduce even more surprises, the race for the ₦160 million prize is only just beginning.
