Okay, this one is actually crazy.

Did you know your blood isn't just one red liquid?

It is made up of different parts, and each one has a job.

Red blood cells carry oxygen around your body. White blood cells help your immune system fight infections. Platelets help your blood clot when you get injured. Then there's plasma, the liquid part that carries all of these things around.

But here's the part I find really interesting:

Your blood is constantly moving.

Your heart pumps it through a huge network of blood vessels that reaches almost every part of your body. Some of those vessels are so tiny that they're only visible with a microscope.

And your body is constantly making new blood cells too.

For example, most of your blood cells are produced inside your bone marrow. So while you're sitting down watching TikTok, sleeping, eating, or doing absolutely nothing, your body is basically running a full-time blood factory. 😂

Even crazier, red blood cells don't live forever. They usually circulate for around 120 days before being removed and replaced.

So the blood inside you right now isn't going to be the exact same blood you have months from now.

Your body is constantly cleaning, replacing and recycling its own cells without you even noticing.

Quick fact: Blood is a living tissue made up of cells and plasma, and your body is continuously producing and replacing its blood cells.

Honestly, the human body is doing WAY too much behind the scenes. 😭🩸
