To be old in this context is not about your age, but your mindset. You may be thinking “I am too old to become a lawyer, a doctor or whatever you desire to be; I am 25 years old and it will be humiliating to sit with my juniors to retake SSCE; I may never be who I want to be, I am stuck with a career that I was forced to study”. I have good news for you; you are not too old. There is an adage that says, ‘it is better late than never’.

Today, you may be a graduate, married with kids; you may be in your 30s or your 40s. I want to tell you that you can still become the person you want to be, study the course you have always desired to study. It is not too late yet.

However, people may mock you, humiliate you or disrespect you, but they cannot take away your success, the achievement and above all the fulfillment you will have. Strive with courage and boldness; go through the process. Success is not usually easy or else it loses its worth.

Note that you are not too old to fulfill your destiny, or to live the life you always dream of. There is no need to cry over spilled milk. It is either you get another glass of milk or make use of what you have left in the cup.

In conclusion, do not give up on yourself; Do not think you have wasted your life and never be who you dream about becoming. Yesterday is gone but tomorrow is yet to be birthed. Make the most of your life today with determination and focus. Your tomorrow can be birthed today.
