You have probably said it to yourself at some point.

Different man, different city, different circumstances, but somehow, the same story. The same confusion, the same you, lying awake at night wondering what went wrong.

If you have ever asked yourself why you keep attracting the same kind of man, I want you to know something important before we go any further.

This is not bad luck, this is not fate. This is a pattern, and the most powerful thing about patterns is that once you can see them clearly, you can change them.

The Real Reason The Same Man Keeps Showing Up

Most relationship advice will tell you to make a list you won’t accept, know your worth, stop settling. And while those things are true, they miss something much deeper.

The reason you keep attracting the same kind of man has very little to do with the men themselves. It has everything to do with what your nervous system has been conditioned to recognize as love.

Here is the psychology. Your earliest experiences of love in your family, in your childhood, in your very first relationships, created a blueprint.
A template for what love is supposed to feel like. And your nervous system spends your adult life searching for that feeling.

The problem is that, the blueprint was often built from imperfect love. Love that came with conditions, love that required you to earn it, love that felt uncertain, inconsistent or anxious.

So now as an adult, your nervous system gravitates toward men who recreate that familiar feeling.
Not because you want to suffer, but because familiar feels safe, even when it hurts.

The Anxious-Avoidant Trap

There is a specific pattern that plays out repeatedly for women who keep attracting unavailable men. It is called the anxious-avoidant dynamic, and it is one of the most common relationship cycles in modern dating.

It works like this. You tend toward anxious attachment, meaning you crave closeness, you fear abandonment and when someone pulls away, your instinct is to chase.
And for him, he tends toward avoidant attachment, meaning intimacy feels threatening, he pulls back when things get real and he is more comfortable being pursued than being close.

The chemistry between these two attachment styles is intense. The push and pull feels like passion.
The uncertainty feels like depth, and the chase feels like love.

But it is not passion, it’s anxiety dressed up as chemistry.

And here is the painful truth nobody says clearly enough: the very thing that feels like the most electric connection you have ever experienced might be the most incompatible match you could choose.

The Signs You Are In This Cycle

You might be in this pattern if:

1. You are drawn to people who seem a little out of reach. Men who are emotionally unavailable or inconsistent feel more exciting than men who are warm and consistent. You mistake peace for boredom and intensity for connection.

2. You find yourself doing most of the emotional labour. You initiate, you plan, you follow up. You are the one trying to keep the connection alive while he receives it.

3. Your anxiety increases when things are going well. Counterintuitively, when someone is being genuinely kind and consistent with you, you feel suspicious or unstimulated, because your nervous system does not recognize safety as love yet.

You stay too long in things that are not working. The connection feels so intense even when it hurts, that leaving feels almost impossible.

How To Actually Break The Pattern

Breaking this cycle is not about finding a better man. It is about becoming a woman whose nervous system can recognize and receive healthy love.

Here is where to start.

1. Name the belief underneath the pattern:
Most women who attract unavailable men carry a core belief that love has to be earned. That they are not enough to be chosen freely. That if they just give more, try harder and stay longer, he will eventually see their worth.
Writing this belief down and seeing it clearly is one of the most powerful first steps you can take.

2. Learn to regulate your nervous system:
When he goes quiet and the urge to chase rises up, that feeling is anxiety, not instinct. Learning to sit with that feeling without acting on it is one of the most important skills you can develop. You can journal it, pray through it, call a friend, and not him.

3. Practice dating from observation, not emotion:
For the first 90 days of any new connection, observe his behavior rather than investing in his potential.
Does he initiate consistently?
Does he follow through? Is the effort mutual? Let his actions not his words,  tell you who he is.

4. Befriend the 'boring' feeling:
If a consistent, emotionally available man feels boring to you, that is your attachment pattern speaking. The work is learning to associate peace with safety and safety with love. Give the calm ones a proper chance before dismissing them.

The Pattern Breaks When The Belief Breaks

You cannot think your way out of this cycle. You cannot logic yourself into attraction. But you can do the deep work of changing what your nervous system has been conditioned to want.

That work takes time. It takes the right information, a daily practice and a community of women who are doing the same thing alongside you.

Which is exactly why I created the Sit Back Framework Masterclass.

On May 24th I am hosting a completely free live session where I break down the full psychology of why this pattern exists, how your attachment style has been running your love life and most importantly, the practical daily framework for changing it permanently.

This is not a motivational talk. This is the session I wish someone had given me before I spent years in the wrong patterns.

It is a free class, and spots are limited because I want it to be intimate.

You have been in this cycle long enough. The pattern breaks here.
