I see it every day—people focused solely on their CRS score, waiting for a general Express Entry draw that feels like it’s never coming. If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me, "When is the next Express Entry draw?" I’d probably be a billionaire by now! Seriously, if I was charging for every question in my DMs, I’d be writing this from a private island. 🏝️ lol...

But jokes aside, the obsession with Express Entry is causing a lot of talented people to miss their real opportunity: The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

But here is the truth: While many are waiting for the "National" door to open, the Provincial doors are wide open.

While I moved through the Federal PR route in 2021, I have seen first-hand that the smartest strategy right now is often the PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). A close friend of mine just secured her PR this way. She didn't wait for the general pool to move; she looked at what the provinces actually needed and positioned herself there.

Since 2025, a significant portion of successful PRs have come from targeted streams like:

AAIP (Alberta Advantage Immigration Program)
OINP (Ontario)
SINP (Saskatchewan)
MPNP (Manitoba)
These provinces run targeted draws based on local labor demands—not just your CRS score.

If your score is stuck, stop staring at the federal pool and start exploring your EOI (Expression of Interest) options. The key isn't waiting for the "perfect" draw; it’s being strategic across multiple streams.

I’ll be sharing more deep dives into the differences between PNP and Express Entry soon. It’s time to stop waiting and start navigating.

Are you currently banking solely on Express Entry, or have you explored Provincial streams? Let’s talk about it.
