A Church is the gathering of Christians for worship, fellowship, and prayer, but that’s not the case nowadays. 

Christianity is a religion centered on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ which means a church is a place where teachings about Jesus should be held and teachings about how to carry out the instructions of Jesus.

A pastor is a minister in charge of a Christian church not the center piece of the church.

A church should be a place that screams Jesus, so therefore Amanda, I don’t want to come to your church because of how powerful your pastor is or the miracles he performs but because of how accurate his teachings of Christ is. Now this is something that is always misunderstood, a church shouldn’t be popular because of how powerful the pastor or the person in charge is, it’s should be known because of how powerful their worship and teachings of Christ is.

Another thing being misunderstood is that we are being gaslighted to believe that if we don’t go to church we can’t get spiritual and we can’t get spiritual unless it’s through our pastors, this one is funny because it goes against the teachings of Christ, you have your Bible and you have faith, you can become closer and spiritual with God even though you don’t step foot into a church for the remainder of your life.

The problem is not from the believers, it is what the believers are told to believe, the Bible is a sacred book that cannot be read without the intelligence of God backing you, and once you don’t have that, or you use your mere man knowledge you get something else entirely as the meaning, and I think most, not all because most pastors are very much active, but most pastors usually use man knowledge for the Bible and that’s what’s being told to their followers, when it comes to religion or Christianity, we Africans are very gullible and that’s how false intelligence spreads, and when there is no one to correct these activities as we can all see, it’s now a very huge problem.

There are some wrong teachings that have lead into a lot of paganic activities. A while ago I took notice of  this specific belief or activities among some churches, not all though, just some, and it’s praying for the demise or destruction of your enemies, I was left amazed as I saw a whole church chanting “die by fire” to their enemies which was orchestrated of course by the pastor and this activity alone goes against easily the most important teaching of Christ, which is love your neighbor, your enemies also, pray for them, I find this crazy that a pastor who claims he is a man of God and reads the Bible and follows the principles of Christ if not starts this, let this happen.

As a Christian we know that prayer is very much important as it is the only means of communicating with God but prayer has conditions that should be met before it can be answered, most importantly having a meek heart and a being a humble person, praying for the demise or destruction of your enemies, holding grudges are going to hinder your prayers and it’s going to prevent it from being answered, I wish teachings like this are being taught in a church, and also being a woman there is a special instruction given to women towards prayer, it’s is a sacrifice that doesn’t take much and often depicted as not that important but it is if you understand the meaning and importance to God, and it’s covering your hair as a woman nothin much to say about that, just cover your hair when going to a church or praying, it’s very important or else your prayers might not be answered.

This one is always going to cause a huge controversy and pretty much everyone is not always going to agree with this, but it’s there, the word of God, Which is the Bible it is when a pastor or a man of God is preaching prosperity, which is wealth, fame or other earthly desires, prophesying it, that’s false teaching and not a true man of God.

Preaching prosperity is a sign of paganism and not what God is instructing a man of God to do.

I’m not condemning churches, it is important to gather and worship God but be beware of unholy gatherings and the only way to know if a gathering is unholy or not is not by asking your pastor or someone close to God but by knowing these things yourselves and you can’t if you don’t read the Bible and know these things, beware of false teachings also.
