The biggest scam Nigerians still believe is that hard work alone guarantees success.

Hard work matters, but it is not enough.

I've seen people work long hours, build great skills, and stay honest, yet still struggle because they lacked the right information, network, timing, or opportunities. At the same time, others move ahead because they understand how to create value, build relationships, and put themselves where opportunities exist.

This doesn't mean hard work is useless. It means hard work needs direction. Learn new skills, keep improving, build strong relationships, and look for opportunities instead of waiting for them.
