I work in Ikeja and I live in Okota.

If you think commuting in Lagos is small money, let me break down my daily transport cost.

Morning Routine
 • Cross the footbridge linking to Cele Express – ₦50
 • Keke to the bus stop – ₦200
 • Bus to Computer Village – ₦700
(₦800 on Mondays)
 • Keke from Computer Village to my office – ₦200

After Work
 • Keke back to Computer Village – ₦200
 • Bus to Cele Express – ₦1,000
 • Cross the footbridge and walk home – ₦50

Total Daily Spend

On a normal day:
₦50 + ₦200 + ₦700 + ₦200 + ₦200 + ₦1,000 + ₦50
= ₦2,400 per day

On Mondays:
₦2,500 per day

That’s just transport. No food. No unexpected stops. No surge pricing.

If you’re a 9–5er in Lagos, you already know how quickly commuting adds up.
