• Activity and movement 

• Uniformity of size

• Physical appearance 

• Source/ hatchery reputation 

• Signs of weakness or abnormal behavior 

• Transportation conditions.

I also feel the need to ask questions about how the Fish were grown before i purchase them.

A cheap batch that performs poorly can become more expensive than a slightly better quality batch.

I'm learning that Fish Farming starts before the Fish enters the Pond.
