Finding a wedding venue in Lagos can feel like house hunting on steroids. Too expensive. Fully booked. “Call us for price.” But if you know where to look, it gets easier.

1. Start online (do your homework first):
Platforms like iSabiVenues and Venues.ng let you browse legit wedding venues across Lagos, compare prices, guest capacity, and even book directly. This saves you from calling 20 numbers and hearing “we’ll get back to you.”

2. Instagram is your friend:
Many Lagos venues live on Instagram, not websites. Search wedding venue Lagos or event centre Lekki and check tagged photos. If a venue looks good in tagged posts, it’s usually legit.

3. Offline still works:
Wedding expos and bridal fairs are goldmines. You meet venue reps face-to-face, see real setups, and sometimes get better deals. Plus, free brochures you’ll probably misplace later.

4. Ask a wedding planner:
Planners know which venues are worth the money and which ones just look good online. This is your best option if you want to skip all the stress of looking for venues yourself.

5. Always visit before paying:
Photos can lie. Go there. Check parking, power supply, ventilation, and whether your guests will survive the heat.
