If you are still looking for "TaxPro Max" in your browser history, stop. It’s gone.
As of this year, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has officially transitioned into the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS). This isn't just a rebrand; it is a fundamental shift in how the government tracks your business data. They’ve moved us all into "Tax Administration 3.0," powered by a new, unified platform: Rev360.
Why should you care? Because the old "upload and pray" method of filing is dead. Rev360 is an integrated ecosystem. It pulls data directly from your CAC registration and your NIMC identity profile in real-time. If your data doesn't match across these three agencies, you’re going to hit a wall when you try to file.
Getting onto Rev360:
The "Don't Panic" Guide
You don't need a tax consultant to move your account, but you do need to be precise. Here is your migration path:
The "Legacy" Login:
If you are an existing taxpayer, try logging in with your old TaxPro Max credentials. The system is designed to migrate your history, but it requires an active "handshake" from you.
The Password Reset:
For 90% of you, the first step is triggering a password reset. You cannot log in with your old password; the security protocols have been upgraded. Do this to force-activate your account on the new infrastructure.
The "Automatic" Credentials:
If you were active on the old portal but can't find your details, stop guessing. Check the email address linked to your business registration. The NRS has already dispatched default credentials to millions of active taxpayers.
The Data Audit:
Before you even attempt to file, check your business profile. If your company name, RC number, or TIN in the NRS portal doesn't match your CAC certificate perfectly, the system will flag you for an "Identity Mismatch." Fix the profile first, file second.
A Final Word on the Deadline
The government is aware that migrations are messy. To prevent a wave of penalties, NRS offices nationwide have been ordered to keep their doors open every Saturday (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM) until June 27, 2026.
If you have a complex case, or if your credentials aren't syncing, go in person. Do not let a software glitch turn into a tax penalty.
