Today, being the first Sunday of August, I have no long speech to give. Just one simple prayer.

Thank You, Jesus.

My heart is full of gratitude.

Thank You for the gift of life.

Thank You for family.

Thank You for friends.

Thank You for community.

Thank You for every open door, every closed door that protected me, every lesson, every challenge that strengthened me, and every mercy I never deserved but received anyway.

There are blessings I prayed for.

There are blessings I never knew I needed until You gave them to me.

As I step into this new month, I choose gratitude over complaints, faith over fear, and hope over uncertainty.

Lord, I am grateful for everything You have done, everything You are doing, and everything You are yet to do.

Thank You for being my constant in every season.
