This market is a goldmine for locally made pieces you won’t easily find abroad. Think handcrafted earrings, beaded jewelry, carved wooden ornaments, wall art, decorative tables, leather goods, and cultural pieces that carry real Nigerian character.

I went there to source items recently and the plan was to find stuff that would stand out overseas and still represent our roots. In terms of variety and craftsmanship, the market delivered.

Also make sure you bargain and meet different vendors selling similar items so you don’t overpay. Prices in this market aren’t fixed and if you’re not careful you’ll end up paying three times tge actual worth of an item.
