The honest answer is there isn’t one “best” place.

There are only different versions of “best” depending on your money, your plans, and your patience

Let me break it down.

1. IKOYI — If “best” means luxury and status then Ikoyi is the top tier.

You’ll find top executives, big business owners, and serious wealth there. But land here is not cheap. A small plot can easily go for around ₦300M or more.

2. Epe, Ikorodu, Badagry

If your goal is affordability, this is where you should start. You can still find land from around ₦3M upwards depending on the exact area. But the trade-off is distance.

If you’re working on the Island or somewhere central, commuting from there daily can drain you.

3. Lekki, Yaba, Surulere, Ikeja, Maryland, Magodo, Festac

This is the middle ground I personally think most people should consider.

Not too cheap, not out of reach.

Prices here can sit anywhere from ₦25M to ₦100M+ depending on location.

You get better access and better infrastructure

If you had the money today, where would you actually buy land?
