If you’ve ever bought granola and thought ā€œwhy is this so expensive for something that looks like leftover oatsā€ā€¦ this is your sign to make it at home.

And yes, it’s actually easy.

Ā INGREDIENTS
• oats
• Honey
• Coconut oil
• Vanilla flavour
• Cinnamon powder
• Salt (just a pinch, don’t go and turn it into soup 😭)
• Coconut flakes
• Grated apple
• Raisins

METHOD 1: OVEN (crunchy, bakery vibes)

Mix oats, coconut flakes, cinnamon, salt in a bowl.

In another small bowl, melt coconut oil and mix with honey + vanilla.

Pour wet mix into dry mix and stir properly. Everything should be lightly coated, not drowning.

Spread on a baking tray.

Bake on low heat until golden and crispy, stirring once or twice so it doesn’t burn at the edges.

When it’s almost done, mix in raisins.

Let it cool completely before touching it. It gets crunchier as it cools.

METHOD 2: FRYING PAN (quick and chaotic but it works)

Heat a pan on low heat.

Add coconut oil + honey + vanilla.

Pour in oats, coconut flakes, cinnamon, salt.

Keep stirring like your life depends on it so it doesn’t burn.

When it starts smelling like toasted goodness, add grated apple and raisins at the end.

Turn off heat and let it cool.

EXTRA TIPS:
• Don’t rush the heat. Granola burns quietly
• It won’t feel crunchy until it cools, so be patient
• You can store it in a jar and act like someone who has their mornings together

That’s it.
