Waiting is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
Not because I didn't believe.
But because I wanted answers.
I wanted clarity.
I wanted things to change quickly.
Instead, I found myself in a season of waiting.
Looking back, I realize that waiting taught me lessons I couldn't have learned any other way.
3 things waiting taught me:
1. Not everything needs to happen immediately
Some things grow with time.
2. Peace comes when I stop trying to control everything
I learned to focus on what I can do today.
3. Growth often happens in hidden seasons
Just because nothing looks different on the outside doesn't mean nothing is happening.
Today, I still don't enjoy waiting.
But I no longer see it as wasted time.
Sometimes the waiting season is where strength is built.
