In 2020, I sat down and wrote my first book. I had no idea what I was doing. No publishing deal, no big audience, no roadmap. Just an idea I couldn't stop thinking about and a decision to actually put it on paper.
This year, 2026, I published my 24th.
I won't pretend it was a straight line. There were seasons I doubted whether what I had to say was worth writing down. There were books that took months longer than I planned. There were days writing felt more like discipline than inspiration. But I kept showing up, one page at a time, one book at a time.
Looking back now, I'm grateful to God for the grace that carried me through all of it. And I'm proud of myself too — for the hours nobody saw, for the persistence when it would have been easier to stop at book one, or five, or ten.
If you've been sitting on an idea, a story, a book, a skill you haven't started yet — this is your sign. You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to begin.
Here's to the next 24.
