Last Saturday, I told you people that I would come back today with another fresh update from my Saturday jogging life 😌

Well, here I am again with hot gist from the streets of early morning exercise 😂

One of the funniest things I have noticed since I started jogging is that some people still do not understand the science and art behind jogging 🤣🤣

One particular day, one guy flew past me like a rocket 🚀

Omo, the speed shocked me.

As in, this guy passed me with full force like person wey thief something and them dey pursue am 😃. I was even admiring him in my mind and saying, “This one strong ooo.”

Only for me to jog small distance and saw him standing somewhere, tired and breathing like generator that wants to spoil 😂😂

I almost laughed out loud. I did in my heart. 😄

So after all the “pakapakapaka” speed, you still got tired before me? 😀

That was when I realised that many people, some guys specifically, mistake running for jogging.

My brother, calm down nah. 😭
You want to show us say you get strength abi wetin?

Jogging is not a competition of who will disappear first from the road.

One thing I have personally noticed is this:

The slower I jog, the longer I last.

But once I increase my speed too much, tiredness will quickly come and greet me.

I believe this is same with everyone.

Maybe it works differently for some people sha, but this is exactly how it works for me.

Whenever I see strong and energetic guys stop after jogging short distance while I am still moving steadily for one full hour, I start feeling like a super woman 😌😂

Inside my mind, I will just be shining somehow like:

“Look at me ooo. Small and slim girl with complete one hour non stop jogging” 😭😂

This jogging thing has really taught me something important though.

In life, sometimes slow and steady truly wins.

You do not always have to rush everything.

Whether it is exercise, business, school, growth, or life in general, pace yourself so you do not burn out too quickly.

So next time you want to jog, no go fly like action movie character. 😆

Take it easy.
Breathe well.
Maintain your pace.
And enjoy the process.

.

Just finished today’s workout 💪

See you again next Saturday for another episode of “Things I Observe While Jogging” 😂😂

Please stay tuned ooo.
