As promised, I’m back with a few places you can consider for your next weekend getaway in Lagos. 😂

I’m not adding prices because accommodation rates can change depending on the date, room type and available offers. My advice? Always contact the hotel or property directly to confirm their current rates and available amenities before booking.

Here are a few places to check out:

 1. Honeyland Beach Resort 🌴
📍 3/15 Queens Avenue, Museyo, Bolar Bus Stop, Eleko, Lagos.

This is one place I can personally vouch for because I had a really nice time here with my sister.
They have a pool, gym, restaurant, game station and basketball court, and what made our stay even more enjoyable was that we were practically the only guests there at the time. 😂
It honestly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves — almost like being alone on an island.
It’s quiet and calm, and you’re also close to the beach. You can add activities like horse riding and a bonfire to your getaway, depending on what is available when you visit.

If your idea of a getaway is peace, quiet and being away from the usual Lagos noise, this is one to consider.

 2. Nevada Hotel
📍 3 Aaron Irabor Street, Lagos.

If you’re looking for something more straightforward and affordable, Nevada Hotel is another option to consider.
There’s a pool and restaurant within the hotel, and there are also restaurants and lounges around the area, so you don't necessarily have to stay within the hotel throughout your trip.

This is a good option if you want a simple hotel stay where you can relax, eat, swim and still have other places around you to explore.

3. Landmark Hotel
📍 Water Corporation Road, Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.

If you want something a little more upscale, you can consider Landmark Hotel.
They have a gym, outdoor pool, rooftop lounge and poolside bar, and the hotel offers different room options, including city and sea-view rooms.

So depending on what you want from your stay, you can choose a room that gives you the kind of view you're looking for.

The location is also a plus because you're within the Oniru/Victoria Island area, where there are plenty of places to explore.

4. The Lilygate Lagos
📍 2 Olubunmi Owa Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

If you want a staycation around Lekki Phase 1, The Lilygate is another place worth checking out.
They have a swimming pool and a gym, and the poolside also has space to relax and grab a drink or snack after your swim.

The location also makes it convenient if you want to leave the hotel and explore other places around Lekki.

 5. Eko Hotel & Suites
📍1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

And of course, we can't talk about Lagos staycations without mentioning Eko Hotel. 😂
If you want a full hotel experience with plenty to do without necessarily leaving the property, this is one to consider.

There are swimming pools, a gym, restaurants, bars and different spaces for relaxation and entertainment within the hotel complex.

It’s the kind of place where you can literally check in and have enough things to keep you occupied throughout your stay.

### And that’s it… for now! 😂

I’ll stop here because I don't want this article to become a full-blown Lagos accommodation directory. 😂

As I visit and experience more places, I’ll definitely come back with more recommendations.

You can check out these places on Instagram and contact them directly for their current rates, availability and any questions you may have.

And if you have questions about any of the places I’ve mentioned, feel free to drop them in the comments or send me a message.

Also, tell me: what’s your ideal weekend getaway — a hotel, apartment or resort? 👀
