The last time I helped someone search for an apartment in Lagos, I found something that made house hunting a bit easier.
After jumping between WhatsApp groups, agent broadcasts, and random Facebook groups, we eventually landed on PropertyPro.ng, one of Nigeria’s largest property listing platforms. The platform lets you filter rentals by location, budget, property type, and number of bedrooms, making it easier to compare options across areas like Lekki, Yaba, Surulere, Ikeja, and Ajah.
What I found most useful was being able to see multiple listings in one place instead of relying on a single agent’s inventory.
That said, I still recommend doing your due diligence:
✔️ Visit the property physically
✔️ Verify the agent or landlord
✔️ Never pay before inspection
✔️ Compare multiple listings before deciding
In Lagos, the fastest way to lose your money and peace of mind is rushing into a rental agreement.
