On today's episode of my Saturday jogging gist, let me confess something many of you don't know. 😂
I've always told you guys that since after my very first two jogging experience, I now jog for one hour without stopping.
That's not a lie.
It's the complete truth.
But here's the part I've never told you.
After I finish jogging on Saturday morning and get home, I can barely walk properly for the rest of Saturday and sometimes even on Sunday. 😭😂
While I'm jogging, I hardly feel tired.
I don't even feel much pain.
But immediately I get home, take my bath, eat, and lie down to rest...
Hmmmm.
The moment I stand up again, every pain I didn't feel during the workout will gather and report to my body at once. 🤣🤣
My thighs will be on fire.
My legs will be asking me, "Who sent you?" 😭
Maybe it's because I do plenty squats after jogging too.
Saturday evening is manageable.
But Sunday?
Sunday is another story entirely. 😂
When I wake up on Sunday morning, it feels like I carried one million blocks the previous night.
Walking from my bed to the bathroom becomes a whole project. 🤣
On some Sundays, I miss church because I couldn't stand up to prepare for church.
I will just sit there asking myself whether this healthy lifestyle is really healthy. 😭😂
The funny part is that while I'm jogging, I'm enjoying every minute of it. It always feels like I should not stop.
But the aftermath?
Omo... na premium pain. 😂
Then Monday comes...
As if nothing ever happened, the pain disappears. My body resets. I become fresh again and ready for a new week.
And the cycle continues.
Jog happily on Saturday morning.
Manage the pain on Saturday evening.
Endure it even more on Sunday.
Wake up brand new on Monday. 😌
The pain after the jogging exercise is something else.
However, I'm enjoying this phase of my life, and I'm grateful that I finally stopped procrastinating and started.
Now over to you. 😊
What questions do you have about my Saturday jogging routine?
Ask me anything.
I'll be happy to answer.
The future is greater. 💚
.
I'm DeLight, the most consistent female jogger in in my area, who jogs for 1hr straightup without stopping. 😂
