Ladies, if you’ve ever wondered where some boutique owners get those stylish handbags without the crazy price tags, I may have found one of the places.

There’s a trader in Iju Ishaga popularly known as Big Forty who imports bags directly from China. According to her, she stocks thousands of handbags in different styles, colours, sizes, and designs.

What stood out wasn’t just the variety. It was seeing how many quality, brand-new bags were available outside the typical boutique setting most shoppers are used to.

One thing that often surprises people is that when bags are displayed in large bundles or opened from bales, many immediately assume they’re second-hand. In reality, a lot of imported brand-new products are sold this way before they eventually make their way into boutiques and retail stores.

The bags here cost from 5000 naira upwards.
