You've been told, "You don't need to put in the work, but you can still earn and live a lavish lifestyle."
This is how you get entangled with scammers/internet fraudsters (419ers).

We've been brainwashed into expecting immediate results from our businesses or skills.
In case you haven't made a grasp of what I'm saying, this post is to renew your mind on what soft life entails.
No, you can't start a business, job (same with an online skill) anywhere and expect an immediate turnout.
This is why many people end up frustrated. They get discouraged, go for a different business, experience the same thing and finally succumb to whatever life brings. They'd say "I tried all I could".
Successfully people, although most of them do not share those parts of their journey, had a season of their lives where it seemed they had failed. The only thing that differentiated them is that "they kept going".
They kept trying new ways that could work out for them, and eventually found it.
So, before you actualize your dream of living a soft life, you have to put in the hard work of experimenting, practicing and building systems/ways that bring in income.
Let me hear your thoughts in the comments about this.
