I was in a relationship with this man for five years. He was so caring, loving and he knew all the right things to say but this man was broke. 

He always had one problem or another and would always ask me for money. When I think about it now, I feel so foolish. Did he jazz me or something? 

I would literally go hungry just so I could give him money to sort his issues out. He kept on telling me he would soon blow and he will take care of me. I guess the naive 19 year old me saw it as an investment and an act of love. We would be together forever so what was the harm? I was very wrong 

I later found out that this man had been cheating on me with multiple women and was also collecting money from all of them. This is not a joke. This is real life and it happened to me. 

So of you are in a relationship especially as a young lady, be wise. Don’t spend every penny you make on a man. You can get him gifts from time to time but also make sure he’s reciprocating so you don’t fall victim like I did.
