I’m beginning to realise that nobody really has life figured out.

Some people are just better at looking like they do. 😂

I’m at that stage of life where I’ve realised that I don’t actually have everything figured out and honestly? I’m beginning to think nobody does.

I’ve learned things through work, starting over, making mistakes, trying things that didn’t work, meeting different people and  through doing things I was convinced I was ready for… only to discover that I really wasn’t.

Some lessons came easily, Others? Life had to teach me the hard way.

And there are so many things I wish someone had told me earlier.

About work, About money, About growth, About creativity, About dealing with people, About starting again & About becoming comfortable with the fact that sometimes, you can have a plan and life will simply say, “Hmm… let’s see about that.”

I’m also learning that growth doesn't always look the way we imagine it will.
Sometimes it looks like achieving something you’ve worked towards for years.
Sometimes it looks like changing your mind.
Sometimes it looks like walking away.
Sometimes it looks like starting again.
And sometimes, honestly, it just looks like surviving a really confusing season and still finding a way to laugh.

So I thought…

Instead of keeping all these thoughts in my head, I’d start sharing them. Not as someone who has life completely figured out but as someone who has lived a little, learned a lot, made mistakes, changed her mind a few times and is still learning.

This space will be a mix of the things I’ve learned, the things I’m still figuring out, things I find interesting, work, creativity, growth, and probably a few random thoughts along the way.

Work. Life. Growth. Creativity &  Everything in between.

If you're figuring life out too, I think we'll get along just fine.

What's something life has taught you recently?
