I was having one of those weeks. Work stress, deadlines piling up, phone buzzing non stop. I needed a break, but I didn't want to spend money or go far from town.

A colleague mentioned Riverplate Park off Ahmadu Bello Way. I had passed that park many times before but never stopped to check it. So on my lunch break, I decided to go in.

Past the main entrance, in a quiet corner, I found something I didn't expect. Green paths. Trees giving shade. Wooden benches spaced far apart from each other. Only a few people around. Someone there told me it's called The Secret Garden
