I have a firm belief that African parents went to some school before becoming parents because tell me why all of them behave the same way? Sure, there are slight variations here and there but they all have similar mannerisms and reactions.
For example, why do mothers keep leftover food or blended pepper inside old ice cream containers? Or why do fathers tell these jokes that make us laugh because they are not funny? Or when you mention a member of the opposite sex, why do they assume that it is always something romantic? And someone should tell me why they are so dramatic?
African parents are hilarious and it feels bittersweet as that generation passes away and are being replaced by a new set of African parents. The ones that prioritize self-care and self-love. The ones that were raised in technology. The ones that like soft life and fashionable children.
Let's see what the recent graduates from the school of African parents have for us.
