Month of Ramadan

Ramadan is a sacred month in Islam when Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, increase prayers, give charity, and focus on spiritual growth and self-discipline.

During this month, believers abstain from food and drink during daylight hours, perform extra nightly prayers (Taraweeh), read the Qur’an more regularly, and strengthen family and community bonds. The fast is broken each evening with iftar, and the month ends with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

Ramadan teaches patience, gratitude, compassion for others, and closeness to God. It’s a time to reset spiritually, improve character, and help those in need.
