There is something about the first day of a new month that nobody really talks about.

August is here, and I know many of us are already thinking about the goals we wrote down at the beginning of the year. I know I am. There are things I thought I would have achieved by now that are still on my list.

It is easy to look at the calendar and feel like you are running out of time. Then you open your timeline and see people celebrating new jobs, business wins, weddings, graduations, and many other beautiful moments. They deserve every bit of that joy.

I have learned to remind myself that another person's progress does not cancel mine. It does not mean I am not working hard. It does not mean I am behind. It simply means our journeys are different.

So if today feels a little heavy, you are not alone. Let us be honest about the goals we have not reached yet, but let us also remember the things that have changed.

Maybe you are wiser than you were in January.

Maybe you have become more confident.

Maybe you have healed from something that once kept you awake at night.

Maybe you have learned a new skill, built better habits, met the right people, or found the courage to start again.

Those things matter too.

We still have months ahead of us. There is still room to grow, to learn, to begin again, and to surprise ourselves.

As we step into a new month, I hope we remember that life is changing every day, even when it does not feel like it. We are often so focused on the big things we are still praying for that we forget to notice the quiet changes already happening within us and around us. Those little moments of growth, healing, courage, wisdom, and progress deserve to be celebrated too. They may not look like the big wins we imagined, but they are part of the journey that will one day lead us there.

Welcome to August 💜
