The Difference Between Dreamers and Travelers? One Small Choice. 🌍
I've met many dreamers.
People who talk about travel with a sparkle in their eyes. People who have a list of countries they want to visit. People who say things like:
"One day, I'll go to Ghana."
"I've always wanted to see Kenya."
"Rwanda is on my bucket list."
And I love that. Dreaming is beautiful. Dreaming is necessary.
But here's what I've learned: there's a difference between dreaming and doing.
And that difference comes down to one small choice.
The choice to start.
Not to have all the answers. Not to have everything figured out. Not to be ready.
Just to start.
The dreamers say:
"I'll travel when I have more money."
The travellers say:
"I'll start saving ₦5,000 a week."
The dreamers say:
"The visa process is too complicated."
The travellers say:
"Let me research the requirements."
The dreamers say:
"I don't know where to begin."
The travellers say:
"I'll take one small step today."
The difference isn't money. It isn't luck. It isn't connections.
It's the courage to begin.
And that courage is available to you right now.
I'm not writing this to make anyone feel bad. I'm writing this because I've been the dreamer. I've been the one who waited. I've been the one who thought "someday" would somehow become "now."
But it didn't. Until I chose to start.
What's your one small step today?
🌍 Opening a savings account?
🌍 Googling visa requirements?
🌍 Telling someone your plan?
🌍 Writing down your dream destination?
Whatever it is — take it. Today. Right now.
