I became a member in a particular church. I had been there for several years, and I also did the training required though not completely but to a certain level. I had had dreams that proved that was my place the church God wants me to serve Him in.
Despite knowing this, there was a conflict that began in a particular branch I joined when I relocated from one city to another. I was being ridiculed, criticized and literally hated. I observed that people stare at me in a manner that makes me wonder what I did wrong to them. People even avoid sitting next to me in the church except it is a newcomer who did not hear about me; particularly the church workers. I then noticed when I walk pass after service, I would hear murmurings and when I thought about what they said I knew it applied to me. I began to go late because I had to force myself to attend service there. When I walk pass people to a seat, I hear the whispers like every time she comes late. In fact, I saw the pastor’s wife shake her head when I came in one Sunday despite being on stage to handle a section.
To cut the story short I left the church back to my parents' church. They too had branches across the nation there I was and I noticed that my prayer life died. I lost the presence of God the fellowship and the joyfulness and peace of fellowship. I was just going through life. Then I began to seek they face of God for mercy. That’s how I understand that Pastor Jerry NSPPD prayers for mercy are no joke at all. Then God showed me the other church I left I left through a dream. This is how I realized that I left the place God has destined me to be. Again, I prayed for mercy.
I realized that I had lost the spiritual covering I enjoyed there, my spiritual growth seems to be impeded. The spiritual battles seem to intensify that period, and I found myself struggling to stand in prayers. I missed the blessings that I would have received if I was found in the right place. I became very miserable, sad and depressed. Even though everyone was happy in the church I was not I only try to smile to cover up so that they will not say something is wrong with this girl.
The branch pastor of the church I left knows me. I began to dream of him; the first dream he asked me “what happened to you” I then knew he had noticed my absence despite it being a big church. I realized he became worried about me. Eventually I went back and this time I had to learn to shut out others from my mind; feel as if it is only me and God. This is how I overcame and my lost relationship with God was restored.
