They say clothes don’t talk.
Mine does.
This isn’t just a lilac pinstripe boubou.
This is a canvas.
This is a conversation.
This is me, deciding that my creativity deserves to be seen.
Every circle on this chest? That’s intention.
Ankara applique with leaves, hearts, and wax prints — all different, all bold, all telling their own story.
I didn’t want plain. I wanted personality.
I didn’t want to blend in. I wanted to bloom.
As a creative, I’ve learned that everything I touch can be art.
My ideas. My style. My walk. My peace.
The way I mix soft lilac with loud Ankara and make it make sense.
The way I take culture and turn it into elegance.
The way I choose color when the world says be neutral.
Creativity is not just painting or designing.
Creativity is choosing joy on a hard day.
It’s choosing gratitude when complaints are easier.
It’s taking fabric and thread and saying “this will be joy bubbles.”
It’s taking a free-flowing V-neck and making it feel like freedom.
So today I’m wearing my work.
Not just what’s on my body, but what’s in my mind.
I created this mood. I created this vibe. I created this peace.
And if you’re a creative reading this:
Don’t shrink your ideas to fit small rooms.
Wear them. Walk in them. Live in them.
Let your life be the portfolio.
