Every revolutionary leader encounters opposition, delays, criticism and moment of discouragement. The difference between those who finish and those who quit is Resilience. Resilience is the grace to remain steadfast when circumstances become difficult. Nehemiah faced mockery while rebuilding Jerusalem's walls. Paul endured persecution, imprisonment and hardship while advancing the gospel. Jesus himself endured the cross because he looked beyond present suffering to the glory that would follow. Great victories are reserved for those who refuse to surrender when the battle becomes intense.
Fellow labourer in Christ, never allow temporary setbacks to convince you that God's promises have failed. Every challenge is an opportunity for your faith to mature. Lean upon the strength of the holy Spirit and remember that your labour in the Lord is never in vain. Even when results seem delayed, continue praying, serving, giving and believing. The same God who began the good work in you is faithful to complete it. Your due season is closer than you think. Great Grace
