I was speaking with someone the other day about how we needed to work to get money. She said that she had learnt a skill, tried to put it to use but no work was coming forth and she was worried about her future——At least she started….
Then it made me wonder how a lot of people(including myself) think that we have to have enough resources before obeying God’s instructions.
You don’t have to have enough to serve Jesus through your business, career, academics, just name it!.
He has called you to be His representative here on earth while he is away.
As long as you are willing to yield to His leading, everything will fall into place no matter how long it takes.
When Jesus preached to the multitude for three days, they had nothing to eat up until the last day when He thought to feed them before they leave.
His disciples answered, "But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?" (Mark.8.4)
Then Jesus said they should bring the loaves and the little fishes. He blessed it and fed them till they were full.
When He send us an instruction, He expects that you start with whatever you have and He would fill you with His blessings along the way.
So get up and work!
Stop procrastinating!
