Some people confuse self-worth with pride but they are not the same.

This was my case sometime in February when I visited Umuahia. I had to define who I actually was to someone who wanted to make me feel less of myself. The funny thing was that I was attacked by his cohort who tagged me being "prideful" because I didn't bow to the subtle disrespect presented in charming plate😂. Na many people tactics be dis, they force you to react and blame you for reacting.

SELF-WORTH is knowing your value WITHOUT looking down on others whereas PRIDE is feeling superior BECAUSE of what you have, know, or achieved.

God never called you to hate yourself or live without confidence but He also never called you to become arrogant and unreachable because of anything obtained or attained.

I believe strongly that true confidence is quiet, and is a underrated SUPERPOWER.

This thing called pride is always trying to prove something and often whatever needs to fight so hard to prove, "most times" do not worth it.

Know your worth but stay humble because the strongest people are not those who feel bigger than everyone else, instead they are those who remain grounded even when they rise like the garri I drank abi soaked last night 🤦😭

Umunna what do you think is the real difference between self-worth and pride in your own views?

Let me read your thoughts in the comments section mbok.
