Over the past few weeks, I've been experimenting with a phishing attack scenario using Storm-Breaker, a tool designed to create phishing pages that can compromise a victim’s device camera and audio.

By crafting a convincing phishing email and shortening the malicious URL, I was able to simulate an attack where the victim, upon clicking the link, unknowingly granted access to their device’s camera and microphone. The tool captures images whenever motion is detected in front of the camera and even allows real-time audio monitoring.

This highlights the critical importance of social engineering awareness not every link is genuine!  Cybercriminals use sophisticated phishing techniques to exploit human psychology rather than technical vulnerabilities.

*  Stay vigilant
* Verify links before clicking
* Enhance your cybersecurity awareness

It’s not a matter of HOW you’ll be targeted, but WHEN. Stay prepared
