If you’re in Lagos, you already know most things don’t pay unless people need them every day.

POS still works, but only in busy areas. Bus stops, junctions, and places where people are always withdrawing. If your spot is dry, you’ll just sit down and watch.

Food sells, but not everything. It’s the normal things people buy without thinking. Rice in the afternoon, noodles at night, small chops, shawarma. Once you’re consistent and close, people will keep coming.

Delivery is everywhere now. If you have a bike or access to one, there’s always something to move. Instagram vendors, food, random pickups. Somebody is always sending something.

Reselling too, but not in a big way. People are buying perfumes, thrift, sneakers from cheaper places and adding small profit. It’s not loud money, but it moves.

Personal shopping is also moving. People don’t have time to enter the market or start pricing things. They’ll send you to buy clothes, foodstuff, and even random items. You add your fee on top and deliver. 

Then small services. Hair, nails, barbing, and phone repairs. If you’re good and people can reach you easily, you won’t stay idle.

The ones that don’t really work are the ones nobody around you is already paying for. The things that pay are the things people don’t think twice about spending on.
