Sometimes, love doesn’t begin with fireworks.
Sometimes, it begins with a glance… and a missed moment.
In June 2025, on a regular day at Challenge, Ibadan, I was simply on my way to see someone. Nothing special, nothing planned. I was about to board a keke and move on with my day.
But somewhere in that moment, someone noticed me.
He didn’t come directly—he was too shy. Instead, he sent his boss to speak for him. Just as my keke was about to move, I handed over my business card without a second thought… and left.
That could have been the end of the story.
Months passed—June, July… silence.
Then in August, he finally reached out. But I didn’t see it the way he did. To me, it was just another message on my business line. No emotions, no curiosity. I brushed it off.
And again… silence.
Fast forward to 2026. A simple habit changed everything. While sending out New Month messages in February, I came across his number—saved, unfamiliar, different from the others.
So I sent a message.
And just like that… everything restarted.
His response was immediate, almost like he had been waiting. He had tried to reach me, lost my contact, and somehow, we found our way back again.
This time, it was different.
What started as a missed connection became a meaningful one. From February till now, it has been something beautiful—unexpected, calm, and genuine.
It made me realize something:
Not every love story starts when you meet.
Some begin when timing finally aligns.
