I had a customer who bought a ready-to-wear outfit from me.
Before she wore it, we explained the sizing and how it should fit. But she insisted it would be perfect without any adjustments. When she finally tried it on, it didn’t sit well on her body. Instead of adjusting it or asking for help, she complained like the outfit was badly made.
At that moment, I realized something…
LESSON:
Not every body type fits ready-to-wear perfectly.
And as a business owner, you can do your best…
but if a customer ignores guidance, the result won’t always be perfect.
That experience taught me to:
Explain sizing more clearly
Encourage adjustments when needed and stand by my work
