He’s facing multiple allegations, including assaulting his estranged partner Ashabi Simple, a police inspector, and others, as well as allegedly stealing a ₦12 million Mercedes-Benz. This all reportedly happened at his bar in Iyana Ilogbo. He even jumped a fence last week to avoid arrest.

The court delayed bail and adjourned the case to January 19, and while the internet is busy turning it into memes, I can’t help but ask: at what point do we stop normalizing chaos because someone is famous?

This isn’t entertainment. It’s a pattern. And fame shouldn’t mean immunity from consequences. I’m glad he’s being dealt with to the full extent of the law.
