The Pink Exhibition has grown from a small trade fair into one of Ebonyi’s leading business platforms, bringing together hundreds of vendors and customers in Abakaliki. Founded by entrepreneur Maryann Chinelo Omege (Mims), the event helps small businesses gain visibility, attract buyers, and expand their reach.

Featuring vendors in fashion, food, beauty, and lifestyle products, the exhibition has become a lively space for sales, networking, and brand growth.

Following the last edition, Governor Francis Nwifuru provided financial support to selected vendors to strengthen small and medium-scale businesses and encourage job creation.

After the event, some participants raised concerns on social media about the selection and disbursement of empowerment funds, calling for clearer communication and greater transparency. A separate loan dispute involving the organiser also surfaced online, with sources describing it as a private financial matter under resolution.

Despite these issues, many vendors reported strong sales, wider exposure, and new business opportunities. For many small business owners, the Pink Exhibition remains a valuable platform and a symbol of opportunity for local entrepreneurs in Ebonyi.
