I’m learning that I can deeply love my family and still feel overwhelmed by them. Love doesn’t magically erase exhaustion, and care doesn’t cancel the need for boundaries. Some days, I crave closeness; other days, I need space to breathe.

This contradiction used to make me feel guilty, like I was being ungrateful. Now I understand it doesn’t. It simply makes me human — someone capable of love and limits, connection and self-preservation.
