In July 2026 alone, there were 596 security incidents and at least 570 confirmed fatalities across Nigeria. Zamfara, Kaduna, Benue, Plateau—these names now echo with pain. Farmers watch their harvest rot because bandits block them from markets. Displaced families resort to begging to survive. The government says it's working on solutions. But communities are bleeding, and justice feels far away.
