As someone who’s watched way too many K-dramas, this felt like one of those “let’s see if it’s actually worth it” moments… and I’m glad I went.
I found this self-service ramen spot at Ikeja Town Square, and the experience is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve ever seen those Korean convenience store scenes.
You walk in, pick your ramen, and cook it yourself. There’s someone there guiding you through the process which is really helpful.
I went for the mild spicy ramen, which started from ₦4,000. I also tried their iced peach tea for ₦5,000, and there’s a ₦1,000 self-service fee to use the setup.
The freedom to customize everything to your taste was quite nice. It feels interactive, not just like you’re ordering food.
They also stock Korean snacks, drinks, and essentials.
The space is quite small, so don’t expect anything fancy or spacious. But the staff were patient and helpful, which made the experience smoother.
If you’re a K-drama or K-pop fan, this is definitely something you’ll enjoy trying at least once.
