Excuse me
It is best to please yourself before pleasing anybody because it has and will always be "You against The World".
Don't let anyone to deceive about not following your dreams or implanting the fact that dreams do not pay, The dreams might take seconds, minutes, hours, days, even years to accomplish. Have you ever had this happen to you that the moment you just give up on that your dream and move on to a much more higher or rather maybe false or orchestrated narrative, Someone out there does what you were doing and succeeds, like have you not experienced this?
If you have then, For real you have to stop giving up and stop allowing the ideals of others get to you and your way of living because one thing about living in this life is that once someone or alot of people are talking you down on what you know and feel is your dream that you will succeed in, giving you doubts, The narrative changes and trust me, it is at that point of the change of narrative, someone somewhere in this world is doing what yiu are doing and going through what you're going through and boom the next thing you know you see someone pop out somewhere as a billionaire or whatsoever like they are just doing it out of thin air but when you look into what they are doing, you end up realising that it was the same thing you were doing that the person dis ans boom that person hit the jackpot in it and became a millionaire,  This is where the saying comes "He is living ny dream".
Now in that context, since you heard too many conclusive talks from your left and from your right, you end up not being able to please yourself even if it is just for a little bit to work toward that narrative that you will succeed but know you choose the words of others over yours. Like you please others but can not even fathomize pleasing yourself so positively in a good way to work toward that which is your dream or whatsoever you want to start something bright for you in the meantime.
Take a look at this story, A boy who ran away from home to chase greatness for his dream to be fulfilled to become a successful football, it took his focused mindset on his dream that yes he will become a huge successful footballer without too many details put on him to not succeed to do so. He ran away from home because the ideals of others were too much for him and he came up with the heavenly conclusion of why doesn't he just run away from home and his own country to pursue his own career and get it all right in the brightest helium. Today he is a two time AFCON winning champion and trust me, It all paid off, why? Because he did not want to please others over him pleasing his own self to succeed.
Never please others without you pleasing yourself when you know what you are doing is right and going to make you funds/super rich, always listen to yourself, help yourself and always adjust yourself to various things and various scenarios that probably leads you to the fact of general success while you walk towards your dreams without letting the ideals of others change what you have or what you know.
