Since this Friday I have not heard the excited scream from the neighbors children when NEPA brought light. it only means that NEPA has been on a somewhat good run : they're currently releasing the power and allowed it to stay a bit longer than usual. And seeing the children focused on their play even when the white bulb comes up, is a testament that they've witnessed the light as much as it took to not leave everything they were doing to shoot UP NEPA!
This good run happens sometimes, once in a while. Until one day you wake up and won't see the light for days. I have always wished that the children should enjoy the light while it lasts, because nobody knows when NEPA will decide there will be no more excitements to give.
Now even the village folks coming back from the market and seeing their bulbs shining on the street quickly join the excitement. You see them spraying it in their conversations that NEPA DEY TRY OO. They sing their praises to their homes, not minding if the very same NEPA strikes and the light goes off the very moment they have brought down their market loads from their head. They will still have hope that NEPA will bring it back. After all do they have a choice except to hope that the light will come back sooner or later.
I have known those NEPA people long enough not to praise them. It seems I'm the only one in this area that knows them enough not to say they try. Because you know why? They hear it. They hear when people praise them and few days after those eulogy you will not see light in two weeks. And in addition to that sef, they have shown me more than enough pepper in this neighborhood to not even touch their light when they bring it. But let them not worry, I will soon install my solar, then once I'm tired of the solar, I'll renew my papers and take the next available flight to London and leave this country for them.
