Let me take you back a little bit...

I remember when I finished writing my latest book about two months ago. I even made a post about it when I finished writing it.

It’s a horror story, but I didn't realize just how much it had gotten under my skin until the lights went out. During and after the writing process, I became a different person. Every little creak of the floorboard at night, every strange shadow on the wall, and every sudden and usual sound made my heart race. I found myself jumping at my own shadow. It triggered fear in me at every little thing because that's exactly what the book represents. 

As the writer, the psychological weight and the raw fear I poured into those pages started reflecting back at me. It triggered a level of fear I didn't expect. Even after finishing it, that feeling stayed with me longer than I imagined. If the creator of the story was this spooked, you can only imagine what the readers are feeling 😅

That is not even the bone of contention of this post.

Why am I sharing this?

Because I checked the progress of the book today, and I saw great results 😊😊. The book is doing exactly what it was meant to do, and it feels amazing to see my hard work yielding fruit.
