1Today, I’m celebrating the men in my AI & Machine Learning class.
Beyond the codes, algorithms, datasets, models and endless debugging, I see something bigger, young men deliberately preparing themselves for the future.
They are learning how to turn data into insights, ideas into intelligent systems, and problems into technology-driven solutions.
What makes me particularly proud is seeing them move from simply learning AI to actually building with AI.
These men are not just preparing for jobs in tech.
They are developing the capacity to become developers, data scientists, AI engineers, entrepreneurs, innovators and problem-solvers.
As a facilitator, one of the most rewarding parts of this journey is watching learners gain confidence and realize:
“I can build this.”
Africa needs more men who are willing to learn, adapt, innovate and use technology to create opportunities—not just for themselves, but for their communities.
To the men in my AI/ML class:
Keep learning.
Keep building.
Keep asking questions.
Keep failing forward.
Keep pushing.
