Okay, I have something to ask because I genuinely need to know if it’s just me.

We all know the salon is where gist and gossip go down. I understand. 😂 But please… am I the only one who gets irritated when the person making my hair is talking TOO much?

Like, girl, I came here to make my hair, not to attend a conference. 😭

I had this particular hairdresser who was actually very good. She could make hair beautifully, but her problem? SHE TALKS TOO MUCH.

Everybody that passes her shop must be greeted. Somebody is walking past, “Auntyyyy!” Somebody is sitting across the salon, she’s shouting and catching up with them. Meanwhile, she’s making my hair and dragging my head from side to side because she’s busy talking. 😭

The last time I went to retouch my hair, she was doing the same thing, talking, laughing, greeting people, turning her attention here and there.

Before I knew what was happening, relaxer was dangerously close to entering my eye! 😭😭

Jesus Christ. At that point, I was like, you know what? This is my last visit here.

Because honestly, I don't mind talking. We can gist. We can laugh. But please focus on my hair while you’re doing it! 😂

I eventually found another place where the person actually concentrates on what she’s doing, and honestly? Peace of mind. 😂

So ladies, am I the only one? Do you like your hairdresser chatting and gisting while making your hair, or do you prefer someone who just focuses and gets the job done? 👀
